Okay, wow. I get that they already addressed this, but Mr Hyde's comment at the end was extremely rude, especially when he shoved the phrase "it's kind of a bummer man" at Adam. As though Adam works full time to make this guy's day. As though Adam has some obligation to alter his comedic style or his personality to suit this guy's sensibilities. As though Adam's personal, individual emotions have some sort of impact on this asshole's overall well-being, enough that he just had to let Adam know that his behavior is not cool. Bro, I don't care if Adam is your paid servant, you can't just tell somebody to "be happy" and have it magically happen. Doesn't work like that. And besides, Adam isn't acting depressed all the time! Perhaps that's just his personality, perhaps that's just the way he is. I can't speak for Adam, of course, but I doubt that he's brimming with despair when he's at work playing video games with his friends. It's not his problem if he's not bubbly enough for you.

I used to hate Angry Lawrence when I first started watching because I thought it was real. It was a real mood-killer for me. Then I watched my first episode of Dude Soup (where the FH members are more genuine) and I realized just how much of their actions are played up for the camera in their other shows.

After that Angry Lawrence is just another part of the video and I can even laugh at it. Keep up the good work fellas!

Personally the transformation of tragedy into comedy (celebrity deaths, wars, crimes against humanity etc.) is a big reason why I originally watched IG and continue to watch Funhaus content. I started my adult life with a six year hitch in the military (which tends to give you a pretty dark sense of humor along with a drinking problem and caffeine addiction.) The ability to spin tragedy, monotony, and loss into comedy gold is what I have found to be the best way to mitigate depression and anxiety. Admittedly it does take a bit of emotional maturity to recognize that when FH does a bit about the Holocaust or Chris Benoit or utilizes racial or sexist stereotypes it is all for laughs.

Along with that I find the ongoing dialog with the audience on the channel is a great way to foster a sense of belonging among the community. That's one of the main reasons I pop into SirLarr's twitch stream or watch the FH crew's solo channels.

Shout out to SirLarr's twitch stream babies. Keep up the great work.

    Sincerely ComradeCleaner.

I have a question I would really like answered, do you guys use pre-workout supplements and or protein after workouts?

    • noahmccoy FIRST Member Star(s) Indication of membership status - One star is a FIRST member, two stars is Double Gold iownedslam

I personally do not use pre-workout because I feel like I have enough energy without it to still do an efficient workout. Others have different opinions and everyones body has a different reaction to it. I would at least try I out and see how you like it. Test things out and get to know how your body reacts to things.

As for protein post-workout, I definitely recommend taking at least 25g-35g. It helps replenish your muscles for repair and is best to take immediately after your workout. There's a 25 minute (give or take) window where your body best takes in the nutrients you feed it. As for how much ro take daily, if you're trying to build muscle mass, match your body weight. If you weigh 200lbs, take around 200 grams of protein a day.

There's tons of guides out there for how gauge protein intake and such that may better suited your specific goals but hopefully this helps somewhat! :)

I'm really glad that I started watching Funhaus. I was introduced via Achievement Hunter, something I'd been invested in since my freshman year of high school. Since then you've become my favorite part of Rooster Teeth by far. I look forward to every video and you guys always make me laugh, even when shit gets rough. Your videos have helped me through breakdowns and countless days where I couldn't bring myself to get up in the morning. So thank you - thank you so, so much. You helped me get through my senior year.

PS - I've changed a lot since first watching your content. I've definitely learned to take myself and the world around me a little less seriously, or at least just have fun with it. The fact that you guys did that for me (unknowingly) is something I will always love and appreciate. Keep doing what you guys do! I watch every video and can't get enough.

Happy to see one of my comments on here. I'd just like to say that I didn't mean to come off as holier-than-thou about the "(good) G4 days" part. In retrospect, it was callous to say that, especially since I know you guys used to work at G4, so I apologize.

And for what it's worth, Funhaus is, to me, ten times better than G4 ever was. Just don't let that inflate your egos too much.

I think you're great on camera, Lawrence. Whether you are doing an angry bit or playing the smarmy Trendmaster or intelligently and thoughtfully facilitating a podcast, I am always interested and entertained. That goes for the rest of you as well. You all never fail to make me laugh. Keep it up!

I feel like part of the reason why the FH community (i.e. /r/funhaus, twitter) is so built up and close-knit is because you guys pay a lot of attention to our comments and fanart. You guys are a fairly popular channel with almost a million subs at the time of me writing this, and I feel like I have a better chance of you noticing my comment/fanart than other internet personalities with say ~20k followers. Not that everyone who comments/creates just does it for you guy's approval, but it definitely Increases the chance of someone with low confidence wanting to create and put that out there. And because of this large amount of content being shared among the community, we get to know people, you see the same name pop up a lot on the subreddit, twitter, fanshow etc. and you feel like you know them a lot more, or you feel happy for them. I wrote a lot more than I thought I would here, I guess what I'm trying to say is keep up the good work, and don't let the (very) vocal (very) small minority change your mind.

I started watching you guys for topics/titles/guest spot with rooster teeth peeps, (I only got into Rooster Teeth because im related to Gavin Free and wanted to see what he left us for) came back because of the laughter, but once 6months fandom hit; I'm here everyday waiting for content and will watch anything you make simply to check in, chuckle, see how you are doing and what you think about the world xxxx then watch your personal streams&channels like I do with Internet mates.

I too find it difficult when you talk about hits and numbers because whatever you make you commit to, and I don't like the thought of the numbers being part of the way you validation your ideas& creativity when all you do is express yourself. You are decent guys, do your thing, start assuming that it is great more often xxx

But maybe that's too sentimental and unrealistic. Maybe there will be videos that don't recruit new regular viewers. But there are plenty of us watching everything who want to support your exploration of your joint creativity.

This podcast temporarily broke the months long, probably ADHD related slump where lots of things I previously could heavily focus on/engage with suddenly became underwhelming and not even enjoyable anymore. It all struck such a cord (Larr continuing to be cool and articulate, Adam's bit was really gritty and left lots to think about.) my sorry, inspired, newly confident ass marched right outside to a heat stroke. Couldn't hear (and eventually see) shit, had to stagger back inside. Oh Boy. is it great to be alive though, thanks for the reminder.

I'm getting fed up of the audience trying to analyse what's going on in the Funhaus crew's brains. They're doing everything they can by working their arses off to provide us with content to enjoy. People need to stop getting obsessed about why Adam acts like this, or why Lawrence does that, and so on. Just enjoy the content, and if you don't enjoy it and have nothing constructive or useful to say, go digest some other kind of content. Love everything you guys do, keep up the awesome work and thanks for making my anxiety-ridden/emotionally unstable brain a little bit happier each day.

Ditto Nate Showww ~33 mins in, apart from the overwatch, Don't play and never been a fan of that style of game. Style is too loud and hectic for me. I'm sure I've heard a couple of you guys say you play CS:GO, and was wondering if there were any videos of you guys playing (together or alone) or if there was a possibility of seeing you play at some point? I'm aware comp wouldn't be funny, but would be interesting to see how you play, or something more like arms race which has potential for humour.

Touching on the, "Angry Lawrence," bit, it's honestly always confused me somewhat when people don't see the difference between a stage persona and the actual person. I don't angrily comment about Actor X being a smug ass because he plays that type of character in some movie, I commend him for a job well done in performing his role. As I see it, you all are pretty much grouped together as entertainers at the end of the day so there's not too much of a difference there. Granted it's one long and somewhat continuous role with the occasional "real" moment shining through, but it's still primarily that, an act meant for people to (hopefully) enjoy.

(Also, Lawrence please keep being angry because I personally find it hilarious. The supercut of your rage moments that some awesome person put together is one of my favorite vids.)
