"There is this preconception that an artist gets to just put their creative pure work out into the world and get celebrated for it. That is SO rare it's hard to count on one hand the people that can do that. Most people bend their creative output to what the market wants, that's why it's a JOB."
    -Lawrence Sonntag

As a freelance artist that has for the past 10 years been trying to build an online presence and name for myself, I practically want to get this quote tattooed.

So this is gonna be a weird and a completely unrelated comment to this video. I've just finished catching up on all the Post Shows I missed out on during the summer and the only thing my sorry ass has to contribute after watching all that content is this because it has to do with dicks and that's the extent of my priorities.

Just wanted to offer an interesting tidbit regarding the shape of the penis Adam brought up on a Post Show episode back in July, about the dick being mushroom shaped in order to scoop out other sperm from the vagina.

Somewhere down the primate line of evolution, we lost dick spines (properly called penile spines) but are still present in chimps and other mammals (if you've ever seen a female cat screaming while getting raked, that's exactly why. She's literally getting her vaginal walls raked by the male's dick spines).

However, in some uncircumcised humans (a very low %), remnants of those spikes can be seen if their genetic makeup calls for it. I have them and because I thought something was wrong with me, I asked my doctor about them and did A LOT of research on them (I was very self conscious about having sex and wanted to make sure I knew how to convince women that my dick wasn't infected of some sorts if they became concerned about it). They're called "Hirsuties coronae glandis" and are small bumps that form around the head of the dick. Sadly, they're often confused for some sort of STD but they're not, they're just a vestige of how our dicks used to be like thousands of years ago. If you look up the wiki entry you'll see how they look like spines facing towards the base of the penis, the function being that as the male pulls out of the vagina it is helping collect all the competition's sperm inside and pull it out.

Anyway, just thought I'd share that. As someone with psuedo-dick spines, I'd say an upside to them is that the spines are just small bumps, they're not really hard or sharp so you don't hurt anyone you're having sex with but they do act as as extra stimulation, kinda like rubbed condoms to give more pleasure except without the need for condoms. The downside is unfortunately they contribute to even MORE sexual pleasure than just normal uncircumcised dicks so you gotta train real hard to last in bed. I'm not gonna lie, when it's been a long time between sexual acts, my uncircumcised spiked dick sadly gives in too fast.

lawrence now that blue apron is turning you into master chef, please droppith some knowledge on me: Whats better to use?  paper plates to save water or the washable plates to save paper?

You might have meant this question rhetorically or sarcastically, but just in case anyone is interested in a serious answer: things that are reusable are going to be a better choice almost always. Dishwashers are very efficient and actually use less water than even washing dishes by hand. You also have to consider that paper plates are more than just paper - they usually come wrapped in plastic, and they have to be shipped to you or the store in gas-guzzling trucks when you run out, which adds up to much more waste than dishes you can use over and over. Even if the environment isn't your concern, it would certainly save you money, too.

In regards to the person who's family member committed suicide, I've been thinking about "the right to take offense" recently, so here are those thoughts:

    On the one hand:

I don't think anyone has the right to tell anyone else what they are allowed to be offended by. For example, if I were to type a racial slur and a person not of that race piped up and said "I'm offended by that slur" I don't think anyone should be allowed to tell them that their feelings are invalid just because that person isn't of the race targeted by the slur.

    On the other hand:

(And this is entirely my perspective on the matter) since that person isn't the one directly targeted, and therefore isn't the subject of the slur, if asked why they are offended they should have to give an answer to that. If their answer is something subjective like "It's wrong" then their offense isn't backed by anything than opinion. If, however, they are able to posit a valid reason for their offense (example, the slur used holds no constructive meaning and can only serve to hurt those targeted) than their offense is valid.

    So:

Don't feel bad for being offended by something. If your friends said something that offended you, and you have a valid reason to be offended (in this case you seem to), then don't sweat it. As the gang said, bring this up to your friends, posit exactly why it is you were offended, and hopefully your friends will be mature enough to apologize.

Also, sorry for your lose dude. I've had a few close family members die in the past few years and it's been...interesting to deal with. Don't be afraid to cry about it because death is sad, but try not to let it affect your living too much. Your friends are alive and probably care about you. Remember that.

    Okay bear with me.

But I believe I have a theory about your "at least one person" watching in North Korea.

What are the chances only one maybe two people out of their entire population managed to get through the internet blockades, find and watch it? I want to think it's actually an employee at one of Kim Jong-Uns' YouTube's monitoring facilities. Potentially when you guys might have mentioned the man himself.

If that's the case and if any member(s) of Funhaus reading this find this interesting enough to read on the comments show and thus maybe triggering an employee of Kim to watch it. Can you pass a message on please.

Can you just do nothing for a while and think about things that aren't humanity ending, why is space exploration not more interesting to you and your scientists? You still get to make huge powerful rockets go somewhere! except now to expand instead of destroying and ending the only living beings out of all known existence that has the potential to leave its home PLANET, reach others and exist there! Then who knows what the future brings, its better than what ever you want to happen.

So glad I sobored up to the idea that there is no Half life 3 when you first reported it, the recent news was then just somber confirmation (plus extra stuff luckily) and that was that.

It's a shame that set was really nice. Any chance you could set up in the office with that arrangement? Move the couch to the VR corner? I'm really only pushing this because I miss Benson chilling on the couch with everyone
