First off thanks to everyone who came to one of our panels, this was a big year for us. But there is one thing I would like to add now that RTX is over, and I'm not in front of a lot of people. There is something I need to get off my chest. Something I don't think I was emotionally strong enough to say in person. But definitely something that needs to be said. I feel like some people who attended the animation specific panels should know the reason we did not specifically bring Montys name up a lot. We all miss him and there is not a day that goes by that we do not think of him. The animators that had the opportunity to work with him would not be the animators or the people they are today with out him. There isn't a single day I don't find my self channeling some knowledge I learned from him. I know for a fact there was more than a few of us who had a hard time with it in the lead up to RTX (myself included) it's a sensitive and personal subject for some of us. I just want the fans to know we have not forgotten him, and we are doing the best we possibly can to uphold his legacy at RT animation.
Respectively and with love,
